Service Manager

About the Role

Southside Toyota Woolloongabba is seeking an experienced and people‑focused Service Manager to lead our service operations. You’ll drive customer satisfaction, lift workshop productivity, and ensure Toyota standards are met across safety, quality, and compliance while coaching a team of Advisors, Technicians and Apprentices, across both a day shift and night shift.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading day‑to‑day service operations to deliver excellent guest experiences
• Managing workshop loading, productivity, efficiency, and quality control
• Coaching Service Advisors, Technicians and Apprentices; driving Customer Happiness and retention
• Overseeing warranty, recall and policy compliance to Toyota standards
• Monitoring financial performance (labour sales, GP, expenses, KPIs) and reporting
• Partnering with Parts and Sales to optimise throughput and on‑time delivery
• Managing escalations professionally and resolving guest concerns promptly
  
  

Skills and Experience

• Proven experience as a Service Manager (or Assistant Service Manager) in a dealership environment
• Strong leadership, coaching and stakeholder management skills
• Demonstrated success improving Customer Happiness, efficiency and profitability
• Solid understanding of warranty, compliance and WHS requirements
• Proficient with dealership DMS and reporting tools (e.g., Tune)
• Excellent communication, organisation and problem‑solving skills
