About the Role

Southside Toyota Woolloongabba are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Master Technician/ Mechanic to join our service team. In this senior workshop role, you will lead by example, delivering expert diagnostics, complex repairs, and technical support while ensuring all work meets Toyota standards and exceeds guest expectations.

This is a key role within the workshop, supporting technicians and apprentices with technical guidance and contributing to the overall efficiency and quality of service delivery.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Performing advanced diagnostics, complex repairs, and technical troubleshooting
• Ensuring all work is completed to Toyota manufacturer standards
• Providing technical support and mentoring to Apprentices and Qualified Technicians
• Assisting with workshop efficiency, quality control, and fault escalation
• Accurately documenting all work and adhering to dealership and Toyota procedures
• Working closely with the Service Advisors and Workshop leadership team

Skills & Experience

• Qualified Automotive Technician (Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent)
• Toyota Master Technician accreditation or equivalent manufacturer level (essential)
• Extensive diagnostic expertise and brand‑specific technical knowledge
• Strong problem‑solving skills with a quality‑focused mindset
• Ability to mentor, support, and guide workshop team members
• High attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
• Current driver’s licence
