About the Role

As a Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a range of heavy vehicle and commercial transport products.
Key responsibilities include:

• Performing scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance on trucks and commercial vehicles
• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults
• Conducting inspections and identifying additional repair requirements
• Completing warranty and customer-pay repairs to manufacturer standards
• Accurately completing repair orders and workshop documentation
• Working collaboratively with Service Advisors and fellow technicians
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised workshop environment
• Ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to a high standard

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

• Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent qualification
• Experience working on trucks, heavy vehicles, or diesel-powered equipment
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• A commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
• The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced workshop environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A current Australian Driver's Licence
• Heavy vehicle licence highly regarded but not essential
