Diesel Technician

Wester Trucks Burnie is growing, and we’re looking for a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team. Whether you’re already experienced in heavy diesel or a light vehicle tech wanting to step up, this is your chance to work with leading brands in a modern, well-equipped workshop.
You’ll be hands-on with Isuzu, UD, Mack, and Volvo trucks, carrying out servicing, diagnostics, repairs, and occasional breakdown work across a diverse and busy fleet.

Your Day-to-Day:
·       Diagnose, service and repair trucks across the fleet
·       Attend breakdowns when required
·       Carry out preventative maintenance
·       Work closely with a tight-knit team of experienced techs
·       Maintain high safety and quality standards

We’re Looking For:
·       Qualified Diesel Technician or Light Vehicle Technician keen to upskill into heavy diesel
·       Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
·       Positive attitude, reliability, and a commitment to great workmanship
·       Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
