Company: Eagers Automotive

About the role:
easyauto123, Australia’s largest pre-owned retail operation, is looking for a confident, customer-focused professional, who thrives on connection, clarity, and results. As our Vehicle Sourcing Consultant, you’ll be the voice and energy behind our car buying journey. In the role you’ll manage our customers who are reaching out to us to sell their vehicles and ensure they get an unrivalled experience in the automotive industry.
This newly created role needs someone with strong interpersonal and influencing skills, who can quickly build trust, provide value and guide conversations with purpose. As a person, you are outcome driven and perform well in a process-driven environment, whilst keeping the customer experience front and centre. You’ll be supported by expert valuation teams, receive on-going training and be provided with technology tools to assist with tasks. For the customers, they are looking to sell us their car, which represents a significant asset value. And for easyauto123, we are looking to acquire vehicle inventory for us to re-sell.

Reporting to the Head of Commercial, the key responsibilities of the role are:

  1. Manage qualified incoming leads: Review and follow up on incoming leads from throughout Australia from customers who have expressed an interest in selling their car to us.
  2. Owning the customer contact: You’ll be contacting customers to deliver a price for their vehicle, demonstrate the value of the offer price, arrange inspections, follow up on outstanding items and complete the transaction. You’ll be the friendly voice that keeps the buying journey alive.
  3. Coordinating and chasing: Schedule inspections with external providers, track progress, and follow up on any delays with customers and the expert valuation team. You’ll keep everything running on time and on target.
  4. Handling multi-channel communication: Whether it is SMS, phone, or email, you’ll stay connected and responsive across every touchpoint.
  5. Staying sharp and process-driven: You’ll follow structured workflows, leverage our national network and ensure that every detail is logged and actioned.
  6. Provide feedback and shape improvements: You will be given the opportunity to influence and improve tools and processes.

About you:
You will bring high energy and:

  • Enjoy interacting with customers who have reached out to us wanting to sell their cars.
  • Have a natural knack for building trust and rapport with customers over the phone.
  • The ability to influence customer decisions by demonstrating the value of the price offer for their car.
  • Have strong attention to detail and a process-driven mindset.
  • Be capable of juggling multiple tasks under pressure.
  • Have a genuine interest in cars and a desire to learn about various car features and what they are worth.
  • Be tech-savvy and confident with multiple systems.
  • Experience in dealing with customers and influencing them as well as automotive experience is an advantage but is not a must.

As this is a role that also supports the Australian east coast states, earlier start times and finish times are probable. It is envisaged that the role will be Monday to Friday.

In return we offer a professional, flexible and fun work environment with support from a wider team of valuation/ pricing experts. You will work within set pre-designed processes that you will be trained on.

The right candidate will be rewarded with above award rates and significant performance incentives to allow overall earnings in line with our Automotive Sales Consultants. The role comes with a competitive range of other financial and lifestyle benefits.

If this role sounds appealing but you don’t match every single one of our requirements, we’d still love to hear from you and find out what unique blend of skills, knowledge and attributes you can bring to the role.
