About the Role
Reporting to the Regional Safety Manager, the Safety Administrator will provide administrative support across a wide range of safety functions. The role touches injury management, record keeping, training coordination, and data collection to support reporting requirements.
This position suits someone who enjoys structured work, manages competing priorities well, and communicates confidently with people across various sites and departments.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide administrative support for safety, environment, injury management and training databases, including data entry, maintaining filing systems, uploading records, drafting emails, user management and troubleshooting
• Liaise with site personnel, internal teams and external agencies by phone and email
• Monitor training and induction records, licences and renewals to support compliance
• Arrange and deliver training for site users on relevant databases
• Extract and present data for management reports and presentations, including generating statistical reports
• Assist with verification of competencies for employees
• Support the administration of workers compensation claim records
About You
You will bring:
• Strong administrative, organisational and time management skills
• Sound proficiency in standard office software
• Confident written and verbal communication
• An understanding of health, safety and environment principles
• The ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
• A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• A current valid drivers licence for occasional metro site travel
