As our business continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced and proactive Regional Safety Manager to lead and strengthen our safety culture across our Western Australian operations.

 

Reporting directly to the General Manager Operational Finance, this influential role will partner with dealership leaders and corporate stakeholders to ensure our people return home safely every day while maintaining compliance with all relevant WHS legislation and company standards.

 

About the Role
As the Regional Safety Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing and continuously improving workplace health and safety initiatives across multiple automotive retail, service, parts, logistics and corporate locations throughout WA.
You will provide strategic guidance, coaching and operational support to leaders while driving a positive, proactive and accountable safety culture across the region.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, coaching and support to a team of Safety Partners
  • Lead the implementation and ongoing management of WHS strategies, policies and programs across WA operations
  • Provide expert advice and support to dealership leadership teams on safety, risk and compliance matters
  • Conduct workplace inspections, audits and risk assessments
  • Manage incident investigations and ensure appropriate corrective actions are implemented
  • Monitor and report on safety performance metrics, trends and compliance requirements
  • Facilitate WHS training, toolbox talks and safety awareness initiatives
  • Support injury management and return-to-work processes in collaboration with relevant stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, regulations and company policies
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to minimise workplace risk and enhance safety performance
  • Build strong relationships with operational leaders to embed safety into everyday business activities

 

About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Demonstrated experience in a senior WHS or Safety Management role
  • Strong knowledge of Western Australian WHS legislation and compliance requirements
  • Experience managing safety across multi-site operations
  • Proven ability to influence, coach and engage leaders at all levels
  • Excellent incident investigation and risk management capabilities
  • Strong analytical, reporting and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (minimum requirement)
  • Diploma or tertiary qualifications in WHS, Risk Management or a related discipline will be highly regarded
  • Current driver's licence
