Parts Interpreter

AMCAP are currently seeking a passionate individual to join our parts department in Welshpool. At AMCAP, we take pride in our 50+ years of genuine parts distribution experience.  Being WA’s distributor for our brand partners such as Ford, Holden and Subaru as well as trade parts suppliers for Nissan, BYD, Jeep, Suzuki and Volkswagen we stock over 60,000 genuine parts. Reporting to a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for contributing to an efficient and profitable parts and accessories department, through the purchase and resale of parts and accessories required for all vehicles.

This includes:

• Interpret parts and accessories requirements via telephone, email and face to face.
• Carrying out stock control procedures
• Organising customer’s orders and purchasing necessary parts customers.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers.
• Any automotive parts administration as required
• Ensuring timely responses and information provided to customer;
• Maintaining, measuring and monitoring backorder reports; and
• Sourcing and procurement of ad hoc parts.

You will ideally possess:

• Hold a current WA Driver’s licence
• Have parts interpreter experience
• A working knowledge of automotive parts (desirable)
• Must be highly computer literate
• Able to work well in a team orientated environment
• Adapt to a multi franchise and diverse role
• A Positive attitude in all circumstances
• Able to maintain cool under pressure & prioritise effectively
