Parts Interpreter

AMCAP are currently seeking a passionate and motivated individual to join our Parts team in Welshpool.

With over 50 years of genuine parts distribution experience, AMCAP is proud to be WA’s distributor for leading brand partners including Ford, Holden and Subaru, as well as a trusted trade parts supplier for Nissan, BYD, Jeep, Suzuki and Volkswagen. We stock more than 60,000 genuine parts and play a key role in supporting the automotive industry across the state.

Reporting to a Sales Manager, you will contribute to the efficient and profitable operation of the Parts and Accessories department through the purchase, supply and resale of parts and accessories across multiple vehicle brands.

Key responsibilities include:

• Interpreting parts and accessories requirements via phone, email and face-to-face

• Managing stock control procedures

• Organising customer orders and purchasing required parts

• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers and suppliers

• Completing general automotive parts administration as required

• Providing timely and accurate information to customers

• Maintaining, measuring and monitoring backorder reports

• Sourcing and procuring ad hoc parts as needed

About you:

We are looking for someone with a solid understanding of automotive parts, strong customer service skills, and a genuine interest in the automotive industry.

You will ideally possess:

• A current WA Driver’s Licence

• Previous experience as a Parts Interpreter

• Working knowledge of automotive parts (desirable)

• High level of computer literacy

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

• Confidence working across multiple brands in a varied role

• A positive attitude and the ability to stay calm under pressure

• Strong organisation skills and the ability to prioritise effectively
