Trade Assistant

An exciting opportunity is available for a full time Trade Assistant to join our busy BYD Pre-Delivery Centre in Wangara.

Working alongside our experienced technicians and pre-delivery team, you'll play a key role in preparing brand-new BYD vehicles for customer delivery.

This is a hands-on workshop role suited to someone who enjoys working with vehicles, takes pride in quality workmanship, and wants to be part of the rapidly growing electric vehicle sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out pre-delivery inspections as per OEM requirements
• Accessory fitment and vehicle setup
• Perform vehicle inspections and quality checks
• Maintain workshop cleanliness and safety standards
• Move vehicles throughout the workshop and yard safely
• Support the team to meet daily production and delivery targets
  
  

Skills & Experience

• Mechanical aptitude and a genuine interest in the automotive industry
• Accessory fitter experience (highly regarded)
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Strong attention to detail with a safety-first mindset
• Current driver’s licence
• Australian working rights
