Trade Assistant

About the role:

We hire for attitude and then train for skills.

We currently have a fantastic opportunity available at our service/Pre-Delivery centre at Wangara for a Trade Assistants or Vehicle Accessory Fitters working across multiple brands.

Reporting to the Workshop Controller you will be trained in performing accessory fitting for customer vehicles. You will have one-on-one support and mentoring from experienced senior technicians.

Duties will include:

• Planning each assigned job for maximum efficiency
• Completing fitting and maintenance in line with manufacturer and dealership requirements
• Ordering parts (where necessary) from Parts Department
• Completing various tasks as necessary.

Automotive knowledge would be highly advantageous but not required. We are willing to train the right person with the right attitude!

About you:

If you have a desire to learn the ins and outs of a car, and looking for that opportunity to start your career? Then this is the role for you! This role would be ideal for a current Accessory Fitter looking to take the next steps into an apprenticeship for traditional automotive service.

You will ideally possess:

• Valid Australian work rights
• Valid Australian Driver’s licence
• Display an exceptional quality of workmanship, reliability and efficiency
• Accessory Fitter experience (highly regarded)
