About the role:
Reporting directly to the Service Manager at Wangara BYD, this role is critical in supporting customers throughout their aftersales journey and ensuring an exceptional service experience.
As a Service Advisor, you will be the primary point of contact for service customers, coordinating vehicle servicing, repairs and maintenance while delivering a seamless, professional and customer-focused experience.
The day-to-day responsibilities of the position will include:
- Acting as the first point of contact for service customers, both in person and via phone or email
- Booking vehicles in for servicing, repairs and warranty work
- Clearly explaining service requirements, repair processes and costs to customers
- Liaising closely with technicians and workshop teams to ensure timely and accurate completion of work
- Providing regular updates to customers regarding the status of their vehicle
- Preparing and reviewing job cards, invoices and warranty documentation
- Ensuring all manufacturer and BYD service standards are met
- Managing customer concerns or complaints professionally and efficiently
- Maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems
- Representing the BYD brand with professionalism, integrity and total product knowledge
About you:

You will ideally possess:
- Previous experience as a Service Advisor, in automotive aftersales, or a strong background in customer service
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail
- The ability to multitask and prioritise in a busy service environment
- Confidence using computer systems and service booking software
- A customer-first mindset with a genuine desire to exceed expectations
- An interest or passion for EV technology and sustainable mobility
- A valid driver’s licence
- A positive attitude and the ability to work well within a team
