General Parts Manager

About the Role

Toowoomba Automotive are seeking an experienced and strategic General Parts Manager to lead our parts operations. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing the performance, profitability, and daily operations of the parts department, ensuring exceptional service to internal customers, trade partners, and retail clients. You will drive efficiencies, manage inventory, lead a high‑performing team, and ensure the department delivers strong commercial outcomes.

The role supports the individual parts teams across Toowoomba, Roma, Dalby and Sunshine Coast, and has a supporting Parts Manager that reports into the position.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading, supporting, and developing the parts team to achieve departmental KPIs
• Overseeing all parts operations including retail, trade, and internal workshop supply
• Managing stock levels, ordering, receipting, and inventory accuracy
• Building strong relationships with suppliers, trade partners, and internal stakeholders
• Driving process improvements, operational efficiency, and parts profitability
• Ensuring compliance with manufacturer requirements and dealership standards

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in a parts leadership role within the automotive industry
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to drive revenue and profitability
• Excellent leadership, coaching, and team‑development capability
• High level of product knowledge and understanding of dealership parts operations
• Strong communication, negotiation, and organisational skills
• Current driver’s licence
