Apprentice - Technician

About the Role

Toowoomba Kia are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Technician to join our workshop team.

This is an excellent opportunity to kick‑start your automotive career while working towards a nationally recognised qualification, supported by experienced technicians and a professional dealership environment.

You will gain hands‑on experience across servicing and repair activities, while learning Kia manufacturer standards and best‑practice workshop processes.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting qualified technicians with servicing, diagnostics, and repair work
• Learning to safely use workshop tools and diagnostic equipment
• Completing scheduled training and coursework as part of your apprenticeship
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment
• Following workplace health and safety procedures at all times
• Working collaboratively with technicians, advisors, and parts staff

Skills & Experience

• A genuine interest in the automotive industry
• Willingness to learn and commit to completing an apprenticeship
• Good attention to detail with a safety‑focused mindset
• Reliable, punctual, and motivated with a strong work ethic
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
• A current driver’s licence or working towards obtaining one
