Apprentice - Technician

About the Role

As an Apprentice Technician, you will work alongside qualified technicians in our workshop while completing your automotive apprenticeship. You will gain hands-on experience servicing and repairing vehicles while learning the technical skills required to become a fully qualified Automotive Technician.

Working within the service team, you will assist with routine servicing, inspections, and mechanical repairs while developing your knowledge of modern vehicle systems and diagnostic tools.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting technicians with vehicle servicing and repairs
• Performing routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes and inspections
• Learning diagnostic procedures and workshop processes
• Maintaining a clean and safe workshop environment
• Following manufacturer and dealership standards
• Working as part of a team to ensure vehicles are completed on time

What you'll bring

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, reliable, and genuinely interested in building a career in the automotive industry.

You will ideally have:

• A strong interest in automotive technology and mechanical work
• A willingness to learn and take direction from experienced technicians
• Good attention to detail and pride in your work
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic
• The ability to work well in a team environment
• A current driver’s licence (or working towards obtaining one)

Previous workshop exposure or mechanical experience is advantageous but not essential.
