We currently have a vacancy for a driven and professional Assistant Accountant to join the finance and accounting team at our Corporate Head Office in Southwest Sydney.

 
Reporting to the Financial Controller you will be responsible for providing assistance with the day to day accounting requirements in a professional and efficient manner. 

What you will be responsible for: 
• Balance Sheet Reconciliation
• Journal preparation and posting
• Managing and reconciling manufacture payments and claims
• Expense review and analysis

• Assisting in preparation of BAS

• Assisting with month end reporting
• Providing administrative support

The successful applicant will possess:
• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Experience with the Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) – intermediate level
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Capability to work autonomously
• Driver’s license and own transport
• Experience in similar position preferred but not essential as training will be provided
