Sales Trainee

Preston Toyota, part of a well-established and highly respected automotive group in Melbourne’s northern suburbs, is seeking a motivated and customer-focused New Vehicle Sales Trainee to join our growing team.
This is an exciting entry-level opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in automotive sales. You will receive hands-on training, mentoring, and industry-leading development to become a successful New Vehicle Sales Consultant.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers in the showroom and through online enquiries
• Learn and apply the TOTAL Sales Process, including vehicles, Toyota Finance, Insurance, Accessories, and Car Care
• Participate in vehicle presentations and demonstrations under guidance
• Follow up customer enquiries and support lead management
• Work closely with senior sales consultants, finance, and delivery teams
• Maintain high standards of customer service and satisfaction
• Progressively build skills to achieve sales targets and KPIs

What We’re Looking For:

• A strong interest in sales and a desire to build a career in the automotive industry
• Previous Sales experience in any industry is preffered
• Willingness to learn, develop, and take feedback on board
• Confident communication and strong interpersonal skills
• Professional presentation with a positive, proactive attitude
• Good time management and organisational skills
• A current Australian driver’s licence (essential)
