Administration Officer

Preston Toyota is seeking a detail-oriented and organised Accounts Clerk to join our administration team. This full-time position plays an important role in supporting the day-to-day financial and administrative operations of the dealership, ensuring processes are completed accurately and efficiently.

Working alongside an experienced and supportive team, this opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, has a strong eye for detail, and is looking to build a long-term career within a busy dealership environment. Whether you already have administration experience or are looking to further develop your accounting and finance skills, we are looking for someone with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

What you will be doing:

• Process EFT payments and banking transactions accurately
• Process financier and external payments and refunds
• Assist with new and used vehicle deal processing
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
• Assist with weekly and end-of-month reconciliations
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Support the wider administration and finance teams with daily operations
• Complete ad hoc administrative and accounting tasks as required

What you need:

• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Basic accounting knowledge
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Automotive industry experience highly regarded but not essential
