With deep ties to the local community, Gerald Slaven is an award-winning, well-established and respected multi-franchise automotive dealership in the Canberra market representing the Ford, Jeep and Volkswagen brands.


Our extremely busy Ford service centre is now in need of a dynamic and energetic receptionist, able to deliver the kind of customer-care and experience we are famous for.

 

About the Role:

Most importantly, we are looking for someone who understands the importance of providing amazing customer service. You’ll be the service centre's “Director of First Impressions”, which means regardless of how busy you are, you’ll always be personable and positive. 

 

Duties will include, but are not limited to –

  • Managing all incoming calls with a positive and welcoming manner
  • Meeting and greeting our customers in a professional and warm manner
  • Entering all service bookings in our dealer management system
  • Managing inbound online service bookings and enquiries
  • Calling customers to confirm their scheduled services
  • General administration duties

 

About You:

To be considered for this role, you will -

  • Have an extremely positive ‘can do’ attitude
  • Have experience in a high performing customer service team
  • Have a friendly and confident phone manner
  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Have the ability to work well in a team environment
  • Have intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Have a high attention to detail
  • Have exceptional organisation & customer service skills
  • Be motivated and enthusiastic
  • Hold a full, current drivers licence
