Service Advisor

About the Role

Northside Hyundai are seeking a professional and customer‑focused Service Advisor to join our service team on a fixed‑term contract as parental leave cover, through to the end of January 2027, with the potential for extension and/ or transfer to another location within the Group.

As the first point of contact for service customers, you will play a key role in delivering a smooth and positive service experience from booking through to vehicle collection, while supporting a busy and well‑structured service department.

This role suits someone who enjoys building relationships, managing multiple priorities, and working closely with technicians and customers in a fast‑paced dealership environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Greet and assist customers with service bookings and enquiries
• Prepare repair orders and clearly communicate required work to customers
• Liaise with technicians to provide accurate updates on vehicle progress
• Maintain clear and timely communication with customers throughout the service process
• Upsell additional service and repair work where appropriate
• Ensure all work is authorised and completed to dealership and manufacturer standards

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a customer service role highly regarded
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively under pressure
• High attention to detail and professional approach
• Strong organisational and problem‑solving skills
• Confident using dealer systems and Microsoft Office
• Current driver’s licence
