Torque Honda and BYD North Lakes are looking for a customer-focused Parts Interpreter to support our growing parts operations across both dealerships.

About the Role
As a Parts Interpreter, you will provide expert parts support across both dealerships, assisting retail and trade customers as well as internal workshop teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Interpreting and identifying automotive parts requirements accurately
- Assisting customers via phone, email and face-to-face enquiries
- Processing parts orders, quotations and invoices
- Managing stock control and inventory processes
- Supporting technicians with timely parts supply
- Building strong relationships with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Ensuring high levels of customer service and operational efficiency
- Contributing to departmental performance and sales targets
This role offers variety, exposure to both traditional and emerging vehicle technologies, and the opportunity to expand your automotive knowledge across multiple brands.
About You
To be successful in this position, you will have:
- Previous Parts Interpreter experience within a dealership or automotive parts environment
- Strong knowledge of automotive components and parts cataloguing systems
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Intermediate computer skills and experience with dealership management systems
- A current driver's licence
Experience with Honda, BYD or other OEM dealership brands will be highly regarded, however a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally important.
