Service Receptionist

We're on the hunt for a friendly, professional Vehicle Service Receptionist to join our Newstead Mazda team at Newstead.

Newstead Mazda is a trusted, customer-focused vehicle service centre with a strong reputation for excellence. We take pride in offering high-quality automotive services, and we’re currently looking for a friendly and organised Vehicle Service Receptionist to be the face of our front desk.

The Role:

As our Service Receptionist, you'll be the first point of contact for customers—both in person and over the phone. Your role is essential in ensuring smooth service operations and top-tier customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and assist with service inquiries
• Book and schedule vehicle service appointments
• Liaise between customers and the service/technician team
• Prepare job cards and update customer records
• Provide accurate estimates and explain services offered
• Handle payments and invoicing
• Manage incoming calls and respond to emails professionally

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role (automotive experience is a plus)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Confident using booking systems and basic computer software
• Ability to stay calm under pressure in a busy environment
• High attention to detail and a professional manner
• Team player with a positive attitude
