Service Advisor

About the Role

Newstead Mazda are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and customer‑focused Service Advisor to join our service team.

As a key link between our customers and the Service department, you will play an important role in ensuring a consistently high level of customer service from vehicle check‑in through to collection.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Greet customers and assist with service bookings and enquiries

• Prepare repair orders and clearly explain required work to customers

• Liaise closely with technicians to provide accurate updates on vehicle progress

• Maintain clear and professional communication with customers at all stages

• Upsell additional services where appropriate and ensure all work is authorised

• Support a smooth and efficient daily workflow within the service team

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar automotive service role

• A stable work history demonstrating reliability and commitment

• Good knowledge of vehicle parts and service processes

• Strong communication skills, both over the phone and face‑to‑face

• Ability to work effectively in a team‑based environment

• High level of professionalism and attention to detail

• Current driver’s licence
