New Vehicle Sales Consultant

As a New Vehicle Sales Consultant, you will play a key role in helping customers transition to the future of motoring by introducing them to BYD's innovative range of electric vehicles.

About the Role

Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for guiding customers through the entire vehicle purchasing journey, from initial enquiry through to delivery and after-sales follow-up.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate and manage sales opportunities from walk-ins, phone enquiries, online leads, and referrals.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and build long-term customer relationships.
• Conduct vehicle presentations and test drives.
• Understand customer needs and recommend suitable vehicle options and finance solutions.
• Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to dealership performance goals.
• Maintain accurate customer records and activities within the dealership CRM.
• Follow up leads, quotations, and customer enquiries in a timely manner.
• Ensure all vehicle deliveries are completed to a high standard.
• Represent the BYD brand professionally and enthusiastically at all times.

What we're looking for:

• Previous automotive sales experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Confidence using CRM systems and technology.
• Passion for electric vehicles, sustainability, and emerging automotive technologies.
• Professional presentation and positive attitude.
• Current Australian Driver's Licence.
