Finance and Insurance Consultant

About the Role

Metro Ford are seeking an experienced and customer‑focused Finance and Insurance Consultant to join our successful management team.

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering tailored finance, insurance, and warranty solutions that support a seamless purchase journey while ensuring compliance and strong dealership performance.

Working closely with the Sales team, you will play a key role in maximising profitability, maintaining regulatory standards, and delivering positive customer outcomes in a fast‑paced dealership environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Present finance, insurance, and warranty products clearly and professionally to New and Used vehicle customers
• Deliver an exceptional end-to-end customer experience
• Prepare and submit finance applications to a panel of lenders
• Ensure all finance documentation complies with ASIC and lender requirements
• Manage settlements, payouts, and remittances accurately and on time
• Maintain accurate records and reporting in line with dealership standards
• Work collaboratively with Sales and Management teams to achieve performance targets

Skills & Experience

• Proven success as a Finance and Insurance Consultant in automotive highly regarded
• Exceptional closing, negotiation, and communication skills
• Strong understanding of finance products, compliance, and customer lending requirements
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• High attention to detail with strong organisational ability
• Ability to work effectively in a target‑driven environment
• Driven, competitive, and motivated by achieving outstanding results
• Confident using dealer management systems and Microsoft Office
• Ability to obtain and maintain required financier licensing credentials
• Ability to provide clear police and bankruptcy checks
• Current driver’s licence
