About the Role

Eagers Automotive is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Administration Officer to join our Brisbane Admin team located in Newstead.

This role is ideal for an organised professional who enjoys providing high-quality administrative support, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to the smooth operation of a busy corporate environment. This fast-paced role is perfect for a person who has an accountant background or someone who is studying and ready to take the next step in their career! 

As a key member of the team, you will work closely with internal stakeholders across various departments, ensuring administrative processes are completed efficiently and professionally. You will be responsible for a range of general administration duties across multiple brands within our Newstead Hub.

Reporting to the manager of the department you will work alongside our dynamic Administration team to maximize productivity and efficiency through innovative and structured processes.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide general administrative support to the corporate office team.
  • Manage incoming correspondence, emails, and phone enquiries.
  • Prepare and maintain records, reports, and documentation.
  • Assist with data entry and maintain accurate information within company systems.
  • Process invoices, purchase orders, and other administrative transactions.
  • Ensure confidentiality and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and administrative processes.
  • Assist the Dealership Accountants in the production of accurate and timely results for corporate accounting purposes in accordance with timelines and policies.
  • Balance Sheet reconciliations as per company standards
  • Assist other internal departments with ad hoc administration and accounting queries
  • Assist in internal audit preparation/requirements
  • Other administration tasks
  • Work on projects where necessary
  • Clear and concise effective communication

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience in an administration, office support, or customer service role.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • A proactive approach and willingness to support team objectives.
  • Professional presentation and a positive attitude.
