Trade Assistant

About the Role

We have a great opportunity for a Trade Assistant to join our busy Pre-Delivery and Accessories team at Waverley BYD. In this role you’ll support technicians in preparing new BYD vehicles for delivery, assisting with the fitment of accessories, and ensuring each car meets the highest standards before handover to customers.

This is a hands-on role that will suit someone practical, reliable, and interested in the automotive industry. You’ll work closely with experienced technicians and have the chance to build your skills in a growing EV brand.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in a similar role (desirable but not essential)

• Mechanical aptitude and interest in the automotive industry

• Ability to work efficiently and follow instructions

• Attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship

• Current Australian driver’s licence
