About the Role

Waverley BYD is currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Pre-Delivery Technician to join our growing BYD team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for preparing new and used vehicles for delivery to customers, ensuring they meet our quality standards and manufacturer specifications.

You will play a key role in maintaining vehicle presentation, safety, and compliance prior to handover, contributing directly to the first impression our guests receive.

Key responsibilities include:

• Conduct pre-delivery inspections (PDI) on new and used vehicles
• Complete accessory fitting and software updates as required
• Perform minor mechanical adjustments and safety checks
• Ensure vehicles are clean, roadworthy, and compliant with delivery standards
• Accurately record work performed and follow dealership procedures
• Work closely with service, sales, and detail teams to meet delivery schedules

Skills & Experience

• Relevant automotive experience or a trade qualification
• Experience in pre-delivery or similar dealership roles highly regarded
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and safety
• Ability to follow processes and meet tight deadlines
• Current driver’s licence essential
