Technician

About the Role
We are looking for a qualified Service Technician to join our Waverley BYD team. This role will see you carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on BYD electric vehicles, with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. You’ll also be supported with ongoing training to develop your knowledge of EV technology.

Key responsibilities include:

• Performing scheduled servicing, diagnostic work, and repairs on BYD vehicles
• Keeping accurate records of work performed
• Ensuring vehicles are presented to customers to the highest standard
• Working collaboratively with your team and service advisors to provide an exceptional customer experience

Skills & Experience
To succeed in this role, you will have:

• A relevant trade qualification (Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent)
• Previous experience as an Automotive Technician (EV experience highly regarded)
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• A current driver’s licence
• A commitment to safety, teamwork, and excellent customer service
