Parts Interpreter

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Parts Interpreter to join the team at Waverley Nissan. This role is responsible for providing parts support to both internal and external customers, ensuring parts enquiries are handled efficiently and accurately while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Working closely with the Parts Manager, Service Department, and workshop team, you will play a key role in maintaining parts operations, inventory accuracy, and supporting the ongoing success of the dealership.

Key Responsibilities

• Identifying, sourcing, and supplying parts for customers and workshop technicians
• Processing parts enquiries, orders, and sales transactions
• Providing accurate parts interpretation using manufacturer catalogues and systems
• Assisting with inventory management, stock control, and stocktake activities
• Picking, packing, and dispatching parts orders
• Maintaining accurate records within dealership systems
• Building strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal departments
• Supporting the Parts Department in achieving sales and customer service objectives
• Ensuring the parts area is maintained in a clean, organised, and professional manner

About You

• Previous experience as a Parts Interpreter within the automotive industry (highly regarded)
• Strong knowledge of automotive parts and components
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Good computer literacy and experience using dealership systems
• A proactive, team-oriented approach
• Current driver's licence required
