HR Business Partner

We're seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our Queensland People &Culture team on a 6-month fixed-term, part-time contract. Working alongside a team of experienced HR professionals, you'll support a variety of employee relations matters, HR initiatives and people-focused projects across Queensland.

With family friendly hours of either 9:30am to 2:30pm or 10:00am to 3:00pm, this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR professional seeking flexibility, meaningful work and a supportive team environment.

About the Role

Reporting to the Regional HR Manager, you will work closely with our Queensland HR Business Partners, providing support across a broad range of people and culture activities.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting HR Business Partners with employee relations matters

• Preparing and reviewing employment documentation, letters and correspondence

• Supporting workplace investigations and case management activities

• Providing guidance on policies, procedures and employment legislation

• Assisting with performance management and disciplinary processes

• Supporting organisational change initiatives and HR projects

• Maintaining accurate employee records and HR documentation

• Building strong relationships with stakeholders across multiple locations

This role does not have ownership of a dedicated portfolio. Instead, you will provide support across a variety of dealerships and business units throughout Queensland.

About You

You are a proactive and adaptable HR professional who enjoys partnering with leaders to deliver practical people solutions.

To be successful, you will bring:

• Previous experience in a Human Resources Business Partner, HR Advisor or similar role

• Strong employee relations knowledge and confidence managing ER matters

• Excellent documentation and written communication skills

• Sound understanding of Australian employment legislation and HR best practice

• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building capability

• High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities

• A collaborative approach and willingness to support a broad range of HR activities

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline
