We're seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our Queensland People &Culture team on a 6-month fixed-term, part-time contract. Working alongside a team of experienced HR professionals, you'll support a variety of employee relations matters, HR initiatives and people-focused projects across Queensland.
With family friendly hours of either 9:30am to 2:30pm or 10:00am to 3:00pm, this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR professional seeking flexibility, meaningful work and a supportive team environment.
About the Role
Reporting to the Regional HR Manager, you will work closely with our Queensland HR Business Partners, providing support across a broad range of people and culture activities.
Key responsibilities include:

Assisting HR Business Partners with employee relations matters

Preparing and reviewing employment documentation, letters and correspondence

Supporting workplace investigations and case management activities

Providing guidance on policies, procedures and employment legislation

Assisting with performance management and disciplinary processes

Supporting organisational change initiatives and HR projects
-
Maintaining accurate employee records and HR documentation
-
Building strong relationships with stakeholders across multiple locations
This role does not have ownership of a dedicated portfolio. Instead, you will provide support across a variety of dealerships and business units throughout Queensland.
About You
You are a proactive and adaptable HR professional who enjoys partnering with leaders to deliver practical people solutions.
To be successful, you will bring:

Previous experience in a Human Resources Business Partner, HR Advisor or similar role

Strong employee relations knowledge and confidence managing ER matters

Excellent documentation and written communication skills

Sound understanding of Australian employment legislation and HR best practice

Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building capability

High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities

A collaborative approach and willingness to support a broad range of HR activities

Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline
