About the Role

Southside Honda are seeking a qualified and reliable EV Technician to join our service team.

Certificate III in Automotive Electric Vehicle Technology is required for this role.

In this role, you will carry out servicing, diagnostics, and repairs on customer vehicles, ensuring all work meets manufacturer standards and delivers excellent outcomes for our customers.

This opportunity suits someone who takes pride in their workmanship and enjoys working in a professional, team‑focused workshop environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Perform routine servicing, diagnostics, and mechanical repairs
• Identify and resolve vehicle faults efficiently and accurately
• Complete inspections and warranty work in line with manufacturer guidelines
• Accurately document work completed and follow workshop procedures
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment
• Work collaboratively with Service Advisors and Parts teams

Skills & Experience

• Certificate III in Automotive Electric Vehicle Technology
• Previous BYD experience preferred but not necessary
• Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving skills
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced workshop
• Safety‑focused with a professional approach
• Current driver’s licence
