About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and hands‑on Workshop Foreman to support the daily operations of our multi‑brand workshop, representing Honda, Subaru and BYD.
This is a key leadership role acting as the link between the workshop floor and service leadership, ensuring workflow efficiency, technical quality, and strong team performance.
You will work closely with the Service Manager, Service Advisors, Technicians and Apprentices to maintain high standards of productivity, safety, and manufacturer compliance across all brands.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Support the Service Manager with day‑to‑day workshop operations
- Allocate and monitor workflow to ensure efficiency and productivity targets are met
- Provide technical guidance and support to technicians and apprentices
- Assist with diagnostics and complex repair work where required
- Ensure all work meets manufacturer standards for Honda, Subaru, and BYD
- Support training, coaching, and development of workshop staff
- Maintain a safe, organised, and efficient workshop environment
- Assist with quality control and fault escalation
Skills & Experience
- Trade‑qualified Automotive Technician (Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent)
- Previous experience as a Workshop/ Service Foreman, Leading Hand, or Senior Technician
- Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving capability across multiple brands
- Ability to lead by example and support a collaborative team environment
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety standards
- Strong communication, organisation, and leadership skills
- Current driver’s licence
