BYD Accounts Payable Manager

EVDealer Group is a rapidly growing automotive business focused on the future of electric vehicles in Australia. With a national footprint and strong growth trajectory, we are building a scalable, high-performing finance function to support our expanding network.

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to lead our national Accounts Payable function.

About the Role

Reporting to the Finance Manager, this is a national leadership role responsible for overseeing the end-to-end Accounts Payable function across the EVDealer Group. You will ensure supplier obligations are met accurately and on time while establishing strong financial controls, driving consistency and supporting business growth. Leading a small team, you will play a key role in enhancing processes, improving efficiency and supporting a multi-site operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Accounts Payable function across a national network

• Oversee invoice processing, payment runs and supplier reconciliations

• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies and delegated authorities

• Manage supplier relationships, queries and escalations

• Support month-end activities including accruals and reconciliations

• Drive process improvement, automation and standardisation initiatives

• Partner with finance and operational stakeholders to improve outcomes

About You

• Proven experience in an Accounts Payable leadership role, ideally in a multi-entity or national business

• Strong understanding of Accounts Payable processes, controls and best practice

• Experience in high-volume, fast-paced environments

• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

• High attention to detail and strong problem-solving capability

• Experience with ERP systems and strong Excel skills
