Vehicle Buyer

We are currently seeking 2 x Wholesale Vehicle Buyer/Valuers to join our high performing team based in Adelaide. The senior role is suitable for both self-motivated individuals who have buying/valuing experience or as a trainee, simply the drive to learn something new. This full-time Monday to Friday role will see you proactively source and purchase vehicles on behalf of the business, as well as helping the team with day-to-day valuations of cars to keep our business moving.

Who We’re Looking For:
·       A proven track record in purchasing vehicles from a variety of sources.
·      Self-motivated individuals with automotive experience as well as no experience necessary
·      Keen to establish a professional career within an established and high volume company

The Role:
·       Liaising with purchasing agents and customers on wholesale buying.
·       Purchasing vehicles from a variety of sources, carrying out appraisals/ valuations.
·       Maintaining a sound knowledge of trade and retail vehicle prices.
·       Make sure every transaction is a win-win and upholds our high standards to our stakeholders.

Skills We’re After:
·       Self-Motivated with the ability to work autonomously.
·       Previous experience working in the automotive industry
·       Experience in vehicle sales, automotive wholesale, vehicle auctions, or car dealership operations
·       Mechanical knowledge/background is ideal
·       Working knowledge of the wholesale vehicle market
·       Ability to negotiate with Private Buyers
·       Maintain relationships with trade buyers for disposal of unwanted stock
·       Good time Management Skills
