About the Role

As an Auto Electrician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems across a range of Hino trucks and commercial vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical faults on trucks and commercial vehicles
• Install, service, and maintain vehicle electrical and electronic systems
• Conduct fault finding using diagnostic equipment and manufacturer systems
• Repair wiring harnesses, lighting systems, charging systems, and electrical components
• Carry out preventative maintenance and safety inspections
• Complete service and repair documentation accurately
• Work collaboratively with technicians, service advisors, and parts personnel
• Ensure all work complies with safety and manufacturer standards

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Trade qualification as an Auto Electrician
• Previous experience working on heavy vehicles, trucks, or commercial vehicles (preferred)
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Commitment to quality workmanship and safety
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Current driver's license
