Product Specialist

About the Role
BYD Sunshine Coast is seeking a passionate and tech-savvy Product Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll be the face of BYD – helping customers understand the benefits of electric vehicles and guiding them through the buying journey with energy and expertise.

What You’ll Do

• Greet guests and deliver exceptional customer experiences from first contact to handover
• Educate customers on BYD's innovative electric vehicle lineup and sustainable technology
• Conduct vehicle demonstrations, test drives, and explain key product features
• Support the sales team in achieving dealership goals
• Stay up to date with product knowledge, electric vehicle trends, and brand developments

About You

• A passion for EVs and emerging automotive technology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Confidence in delivering presentations and demonstrations
• Strong organisational and follow-up skills
• Previous automotive or retail sales experience is ideal but not essential
• Current Australian driver’s licence
