Apprentice - Technician

About the role

As an Apprentice Technician, you’ll work alongside qualified technicians to learn the skills required to service, maintain and repair Volkswagen vehicles. You’ll be supported through your apprenticeship with structured training, ongoing mentorship and exposure to modern automotive technology.

Key responsibilities

• Assist qualified technicians with vehicle servicing and repairs
• Learn diagnostic, maintenance and repair processes
• Complete on‑the‑job training alongside your formal TAFE studies
• Follow workshop safety and quality standards
• Maintain tools, equipment and a clean work environment
• Develop technical skills under guidance from experienced mentors

About you

• Genuine interest in the automotive industry
• Willingness to learn and commit to an apprenticeship
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Reliable, punctual and eager to develop new skills
• Basic mechanical knowledge or pre‑apprenticeship training is advantageous, but not essential
• Manual driver’s licence (or working towards one) preferred
