Sales Support

BYD Hobart is seeking a proactive and organised Sales Support team member to assist our growing dealership in delivering an exceptional customer experience. This role is often the first point of contact for our customers, whether in person or over the phone, so bringing the right energy, professionalism, and attitude is key.

As part of a high-growth, technology-driven EV brand, you will support the sales team with administration, coordination, and customer interaction in a fast-paced environment. What you will be doing:

• Answer incoming calls and manage customer enquiries with professionalism and energy
• Act as a first point of contact for showroom and phone-based customers
• Support the sales team with day-to-day administration and coordination
• Manage customer follow-ups and appointment scheduling
• Assist with vehicle deliveries and customer handovers where required
• Maintain accurate records across dealership systems
• Prepare documentation and assist with sales processing
• Liaise with internal departments to ensure smooth workflow
• Deliver a positive and engaging customer experience at every interaction

What you need:

• Previous administration or customer service experience
• Strong communication skills with a confident and friendly phone manner
• High energy with a professional and positive attitude
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Confident computer skills and ability to learn new systems
• A proactive, team-focused approach
• Interest in EV technology and the automotive industry
