New Vehicle Sales Consultant

We are seeking a driven and customer-focused New Vehicle Sales Consultant to join the team at Motors Hyundai Hobart. This role is responsible for delivering outstanding customer experiences, guiding customers through the vehicle purchasing journey, and achieving sales targets in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Working closely with the Sales Manager and wider dealership team, you will play a key role in building strong customer relationships, representing the Hyundai brand, and contributing to the continued success of the dealership.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting customers through the vehicle buying process from enquiry to delivery
• Building and maintaining strong customer relationships
• Achieving individual and team sales targets
• Conducting vehicle demonstrations and test drives
• Maintaining product knowledge across the Hyundai vehicle range
• Managing sales leads and customer follow-up through the dealership CRM system
• Preparing sales documentation and ensuring compliance with dealership processes
• Collaborating with finance, aftermarket, and service departments to enhance the customer experience
• Maintaining a professional showroom presence and promoting the Hyundai brand

About You

• Previous experience in automotive sales or a customer-focused sales role (highly regarded)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A motivated, driven, and results-oriented mindset
• Ability to build rapport and establish long-term customer relationships
• Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Professional presentation and positive attitude
• Current driver's licence required
