Overview
The Fleet Inventory Coordinator plays a pivotal role in driving the performance of our national partner network. Working at the intersection of data, pricing, and automotive retail, you’ll help ensure partner vehicles are priced competitively, move quickly through our stores, and deliver strong returns.
If you’re someone who enjoys analysing numbers and has a genuine interest in cars - how they’re valued, how they sell, and what makes them desirable - this role gives you the perfect blend of commercial impact and automotive immersion.
What You’ll Do:
Drive Pricing Performance
- Analyse partner inventory, market trends, lead activity, and marketplace performance to recommend competitive pricing for used fleet vehicles.
- Balance speed‑to‑sale with partner ROI, using data and commercial judgement to guide your recommendations.
- Keep a close eye on constantly changing inventory and ensure pricing stays aligned with real‑time market conditions.
Be the Link Between Partners & Stores
- Act as the conduit between our retail stores and partners for reconditioning approvals, ensuring vehicles receive the right level of preparation to maximise saleability.
- Work closely with store teams to understand local market dynamics and ensure pricing reflects real‑world demand.
- Provide partners with clear, data‑driven insights that help them understand pricing opportunities and risks.
Operational Accuracy & Momentum
- Maintain day‑to‑day accuracy across partner inventory, ensuring data integrity and timely updates.
- Monitor lead flow and marketplace performance to identify when pricing adjustments are needed.
- Support scheduled partner meetings with insights and updates (meetings run by others in the team).
- Communicate professionally via email and internal channels to keep everyone aligned.
What You Bring:
Key Attributes
- Analytical mindset - you enjoy digging into data and uncovering what it’s really saying.
- Attention to detail - accuracy matters when pricing vehicles in a fast‑moving market.
- Organised and structured - you can manage multiple partners, vehicles, and priorities with confidence.
- Strong communicator - clear, concise, and able to influence through insight rather than authority.
- Interest in cars - you don’t need to be a mechanic, but you should enjoy understanding vehicles, value drivers, and what makes them sell.
Skills & Experience
- Proficiency with Excel and email communication (essential).
- Experience working with data, pricing, or inventory in a professional environment (preferred).
- Ability to interpret market signals and make practical, commercially sound recommendations.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced but structured environment.
