New Vehicle Sales Consultant

As a New Vehicles Sales Consultant you’ll drive customers on a journey to discovering BYD’s initiatives and value. We'll provide complete training to help you succeed in automotive sales.

The Role

You'll be our customers' guide to the electric future, helping them discover how BYD's innovative EVs can transform their driving experience. From initial enquiries to delivery day, you'll manage the complete sales journey using digital tools and tablets, following up on leads, and proactively reaching out to potential customers who are ready to make the switch to electric.

What you will be doing:

• Engage with customers to understand their needs and preferences
• Present and demonstrate the latest models, features, and technology
• Manage the full sales process from initial enquiry through to delivery
• Provide guidance on finance packages, warranties, and add-on options
• Maintain accurate records and follow up with prospective customers
• Work closely with the dealership team to achieve sales targets and KPIs

What We Are Looking For

• Strong customer service background (retail, hospitality, or similar)
• Genuine enthusiasm for electric vehicles and emerging technology
• Comfortable using tablets and digital sales tools
• Proactive approach to lead follow-up and customer contact
• Team-oriented mindset with a drive to succeed
• Confident presenting features, technology, and finance options to customers
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Self-motivated, professional, and solutions-focused
• Current driver’s licence and Australian working rights
