Used Vehicle Sales Consultant

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Used Vehicle Sales Consultant to join our team at Toyota Ferntree Gully. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, assisting customers throughout their vehicle purchasing journey, and achieving sales targets within a fast-paced dealership environment.

Working closely with the Used Vehicle Manager and wider dealership team, you will play a key role in building customer relationships, promoting our quality pre-owned vehicle range, and contributing to the ongoing success of the dealership.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting customers through the used vehicle buying process from enquiry to delivery
• Building and maintaining strong customer relationships
• Achieving individual and team sales targets
• Conducting vehicle demonstrations and test drives
• Managing customer enquiries and follow-up activities
• Maintaining accurate records within the dealership CRM system
• Preparing sales documentation and ensuring compliance with dealership processes
• Working collaboratively with finance, aftermarket, and service departments to deliver an outstanding customer experience
• Maintaining strong knowledge of the dealership's used vehicle inventory and market trends

About You

• Previous experience in automotive sales or a customer-focused sales role (highly regarded)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A driven, motivated, and results-oriented approach
• Ability to build rapport and establish long-term customer relationships
• Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Professional presentation and positive attitude
• Current driver's licence required
