The Role

As a Technician at Volvo Cars Essendon, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality servicing, diagnostics and repairs across Volvo’s premium vehicle range.
You will work in a modern workshop environment, supported by leading technology and ongoing manufacturer training.
Key responsibilities include:

• Performing servicing, diagnostics and repairs in line with Volvo standards
• Accurately identifying and resolving mechanical and technical issues
• Working with advanced safety and vehicle technology systems
• Completing job cards and service documentation to a high standard
• Collaborating with the service team to deliver an exceptional customer experience
• Maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality and continuous improvement

About You

We are looking for a Technician who takes pride in their workmanship and is passionate about working with premium vehicles and evolving technology.
You will ideally have:

• Trade qualification as an Automotive Technician
• Experience in a dealership or workshop environment
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• A keen interest in modern vehicle technology and electrification
• A proactive attitude with a commitment to continuous learning
• A current Australian driver’s licence
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team

Experience with European brands is advantageous but not essential, with full Volvo training provided.
