Technician

BYD is looking for experienced or aspiring EV Technicians to join our expanding team. Join our Service Team at one of our locations in the North West. We have multiple locations expanding across Melbourne!

Working exclusively with BYD, we are looking for individuals who can play an integral role in delivering an outstanding customer experience for the launch of this exciting new Electric Vehicle brand in Australia. This role is critical in supporting our business as it grows in Victoria and Australia.

About the role:

• Efficiently diagnose and rectify faults in vehicle systems
• Carrying out vehicle repairs and maintenance
• Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical issues
• Assisting apprentices in their continual development
• Diagnosing and ordering parts as required for the job

Do you have?

• Relevant trade qualifications
• A current driver's license
• 1st class diagnostic skills
• The ability to read and understand complex wiring diagrams
• Proficiency in another language (Bonus!)
• Clear communicator with good organisational skills
• Confident and professional people skills
• Strong eye for detail
• Ability to work in a team environment
