Parts Interpreter

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Parts Interpreter to join our Parts team across our Essendon Fields sites. This role is central to the day-to-day operation of the dealership, supporting both Service and Sales departments by ensuring accurate parts interpretation, timely supply, and a high level of customer service.

You will work closely with technicians, service advisors, and suppliers, playing a key role in keeping the workshop running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret and supply parts for workshop, retail, and trade customers

• Accurately identify parts using electronic catalogues and dealer systems

• Process orders, invoices, credits, and returns

• Maintain stock control and assist with inventory management

• Liaise with technicians and service advisors to ensure parts availability

• Provide a high standard of internal and external customer service

• Support the Parts Manager with general department operations as required

Skills and Experience

• Previous experience as a Parts Interpreter within an automotive dealership

• Strong knowledge of parts catalogues and dealership systems

• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills

• Confident communication skills and a customer-focused approach

• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-based environment

• A current driver’s licence

• Australian work rights
