Parts Interpreter

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Parts Interpreter to join our Parts team at Essendon JLR. This role is key to supporting our Service and Sales departments, ensuring accurate parts identification, timely supply, and a high standard of internal and external customer service.

You will work closely with technicians, service advisors, and customers, playing an important role in the day-to-day efficiency of the dealership.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret and supply parts for workshop and retail customers
• Accurately identify parts using electronic catalogues and systems
• Process orders, invoices, and credits
• Maintain stock control and assist with inventory management
• Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts
• Provide professional and responsive customer service

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Previous experience as a Parts Interpreter (automotive dealership experience preferred)
• Strong product knowledge and attention to detail
• Confidence using electronic parts catalogues and dealer management systems
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• A team-focused attitude and strong organisational skills
• Jaguar Land Rover experience is highly regarded, but not essential
