New Vehicle Sales Consultant

BYD Essendon are seeking a motivated and customer-focused New Vehicle Sales Consultant to join the team. This role plays a key part in delivering an exceptional customer experience while driving sales performance within one of the fastest-growing automotive brands in the market.

What you will be doing:

• Engage with customers in the showroom and online to understand their needs
• Present and demonstrate BYD vehicles and technology confidently
• Guide customers through the sales process from enquiry to delivery
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships
• Manage leads, follow-ups, and pipeline activity
• Work closely with Business Managers and the wider team to maximise opportunities
• Maintain accurate records and reporting within dealership systems
• Deliver a professional and positive customer experience at every interaction

What you need:

• Previous sales or customer service experience (automotive advantageous but not essential)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A passion for delivering excellent customer experiences
• A motivated, results-driven mindset
• Confidence using systems and managing multiple tasks
• Interest in EV technology and the future of automotive
• Current driver’s licence and Australian working rights
