Delivery Coordinator

We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Delivery Coordinator to join the team at BYD Essendon on a 12-month fixed-term contract, with the opportunity to transition into a permanent position.

This role plays a critical part in completing the customer journey, ensuring every vehicle handover is smooth, professional, and memorable.

You will coordinate the delivery process from purchase through to handover, working closely with internal teams and customers to ensure a seamless experience.

What you will be doing:

• Act as the main point of contact for customers after vehicle purchase
• Coordinate and manage vehicle delivery schedules
• Ensure all documentation is completed accurately prior to handover
• Work closely with pre-delivery teams to ensure vehicles are prepared on time
• Liaise with suppliers and internal teams regarding vehicle fit-outs and transport
• Maintain accurate records and update dealership systems
• Deliver a high-quality, professional handover experience to customers

What you need:

• Previous experience in customer service, coordination, or administration roles
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• A proactive and customer-focused approach
• Confidence using computer systems and managing data
• Interest in EV technology and the automotive industry
• Current driver’s licence and Australian working rights
