Business Manager

BYD Essendon are seeking an experienced and driven Business Manager to join the team. This role plays a key part in supporting the sales process, delivering tailored finance and insurance solutions, and ensuring an outstanding customer experience within one of the fastest-growing automotive brands in the market.

What you will be doing:

• Present and sell finance, insurance, and aftermarket products to customers
• Support the sales team to maximise every opportunity within the sales process
• Structure and submit finance applications in line with lender requirements
• Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and compliantly
• Maintain strong relationships with lenders and internal stakeholders
• Manage deal flow, settlements, and reporting processes
• Deliver a seamless and professional customer experience from sale to settlement
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of BYD products and EV technology

What you need:

• Previous experience as a Business Manager or in automotive finance and insurance
• Strong sales and negotiation skills with a customer-first approach
• Excellent understanding of compliance and lending requirements
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• High level of organisation and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
• Interest in EV technology and the future of automotive
• Current driver’s licence and Australian working rights
