BYD Manager

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated BYD Manager to lead our team at Essendon BYD. This full-time role is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills and a passion for electric vehicles, ready to drive the growth of one of the world’s fastest expanding EV brands.

Reporting directly to senior management, you’ll oversee all dealership operations including sales, service, and customer experience. You’ll be responsible for leading your team, driving performance, and ensuring Essendon BYD continues to deliver outstanding results.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Leading and motivating the sales and service teams
• Driving sales performance and achieving business targets
• Overseeing dealership operations and compliance standards
• Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
• Managing budgets, reporting, and financial performance
• Building and maintaining strong manufacturer and stakeholder relationships

Skills & Experience

You’ll ideally bring:

• Proven leadership experience in the automotive industry
• Strong business acumen and financial management skills
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and people management skills
• Ability to lead from the front and foster a positive team culture
• Passion for innovation and the future of electric vehicles
• Valid Australian working rights and current driver’s licence
